Few know that actress Olivia Hussey is Argentine, although she became a naturalized Englishwoman. She was born Olivia Osuna in Buenos Aires on April 17, 1951. Her father Andrés Osuna was a famous tango singer, using the stage name Osvaldo Ribó. Her mother, Joy Hussey, was English.
Her parents separated when Olivia was 2 years old, and at 7 she moved with her mother to England. Her mother enrolled her in a drama school, and at the age of 13 she made her professional debut on stage. In high school, Olivia was a classmate of Sharon Osborne.
